Demonstration of White Pages and Organizational
Chart modules
An on-line version is available for you
to test the functionality of our White Pages and Organizational
Chart applications.
Test data is issued from a sample directory.
How to search using the
White Pages application?
 You
can list the content of the directory by clicking directly the
Search button.
You
ca also provide search criteria by filing the fields besides each
attribute. For list boxes, you only need to select values extracted
from the directory. A full text search is performed.
How to use search results?
When
the search is complete, the result list is displayed on the search
panel.
You
can then sort the list by clicking column headers. A reverse
sort is performed if you click again on the same header.
The
result list is paginated. You can select the number of hits that
you want to display for each page in the list box
opened under the list. You can jump to any page by clicking its
number.
How can I display more information for a person?
You
can display more information on the persons you search by clicking
the last name or first name. A details page is displayed, showing
all data available for this person in the directory.
When
you display a details page, you can navigate in the details pages
of
supervisors, secretaries or assistants by clicking their names.
You
can also locate any person in the organizational chart of the company
by clicking on the link Display graphic besides
the attribute named Organization.
How to navigate in the organizational chart?
The
person who initiated the display of the organizational chart is circled
in red, which makes it easy to locate her when the chart gets deployed.
By default, you always visualize the level of the tree
for which this person is responsible.
You
can deploy or contract lower levels of the tree
by clicking the button located on lower right edge of each
thumbnail. If a person does not have any subordinate, the button
does not
show.
You
can also deploy or contract
higher levels of the tree by clicking the button located on top
right edge of each thumbnail. If a
person does not have any supervisor, the button does not
show.
By
clicking the name of a person in the organizational chart, you
visualize his / her details page in the White-Pages application.
